Marc Aarons has been a Rotarian since 1997 and is a member of the Rotary Club of Newport Balboa.
He has received several awards including the Cliff Docterman Award.
Marc’s character has been heavily influenced by his lifelong involvement with the Boy Scouts of America. Marc has been awarded many of Scouting’s highest honors. He is an Eagle Scout with three Silver Palms and a recipient of the Silver Beaver. He received the Baden-Powell World Fellowship Award King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden. He traveled to South Africa to advise on scouting projects and to Germany to receive the International Scouter’s Award. He has been recognized by the Orange County Daily Pilot Community Service Award in Newport Beach, CA.
Marc is a Financial Advisor, who founded Money Managers Inc. firm with two offices in Southern California and Northern California. He has extensively studied the financial, physical, emotional and personal issues affecting today’s business owners, executives, and seniors (including the financial demands linked to increased longevity).
Marc speaks fluent Japanese. He Graduated from Oklahoma State University in International Economics Minor Japanese Asian Study certificate at Kyoto University. While living in Japan, he earned a black belt in judo, and studied Japanese language, culture, government, history, literature, and Japanese business culture. His knowledge of world markets is especially important in today’s volatile global economy.
Marc is married to Xiaowen (Sam). They enjoy providing service to their community and the world. Besides service, they enjoy trying new restaurants and different culinary treats from around the world. Marc is an avid amateur BBQ’er. Marc and Sam enjoy family time and have two German Shepherds, Lexi and Diego.
