Luanne “Lu” Arredondo, married to Moises Arredondo, is a 4th generation Rotarian with a belief in giving back to her community. In Lu’s professional life, she owns and runs a 16-year consultancy firm specializing in Change Management. In 2016, the firm merged with ZAZ film production and now has a division specializing in the development and production of motion picture and television series, using the platform to bridge understanding between East/West cultures. Lu is also an Advanced Certified Lead Faculty for University of Phoenix School of Business helping mentor, coach, and design curriculum.
Prior to these ventures Lu spent 20 years at the Senior Level in Business Management for Fortune 100 companies. Specific areas of ability include operations management, audit controls, process mapping, training, development and team building, human resource management, public relations, branding, cost management, and strategic evolution.
Philanthropically, Lu engages in her community with leadership positions in the Woman’s Club, School District Accountability Task Force, City Commissioner, Camarena Educational Foundation, her local Rotary club, District 5300, PETS, and the Rotary Rose Parade Float Committee.
Growing up Rotary, family is at the heart of Lu’s life journey – spending time with children Josh – 31, Zack – 29 (a fifth-generation Rotarian), and Bryan – 17, camping, playing board games, or just hanging out on a Sunday afternoon keeps balance. Finally, Lu is now chronicling the Legacy of Rotary in her Family (101 years) with a book titled Growing Up Rotary – Lessons in life, profession, and humanity.
